Bandjoun Station
Noting the double impasse of not being able to safeguard the classical and contemporary artistic heritage on the African continent on the one hand, and of establishing ambitious cultural projects there on the other hand, I decided to create “Bandjoun Station”, a project non-profit artistic. “Bandjoun Station” is located in the highlands of western Cameroon, 3 km from the town of Bafoussam, 300 km from Douala and Yaoundé. “Bandjoun Station” is first and foremost a creative workshop where I plan to bring together fellow artists… Some will be able to stay in a creation/production residency, on the premises, at “Bandjoun Station House” and join in the production. exceptional 'in situ' works and monumental pieces which require vast spaces for implementation and shaping.
