Dragāo Do Mar Centro de Arte e Cultura
The Dragão do Mar Art and Culture Center is a cultural complex of the Ceará State Department of Culture that is managed in partnership with the Dragão do Mar Institute . With over 1.5 million visitors per year, it is among the most important Brazilian cultural centers and is one of the main tourist attractions in Ceará. The Dragão do Mar Center is located in one of the most bohemian neighborhoods in Fortaleza, Praia de Iracema. It has 14,500 square meters of built area to experience art and culture, visiting exhibitions at the Ceará Culture Museum, the Ceará Contemporary Art Museum and the Multigaleria; being enchanted by stage shows at the Dragão do Mar Theater, the Rogaciano Leite Filho Space and the Dragão do Mar Arena; watching great films at the Dragão Cinema; exploring the Universe at the Rubens de Azevedo Planetarium; and also enjoying local, national and international shows at the Sérgio Motta Amphitheater, the Auditorium and the Green Square.
