Since its creation in 1983, the Dapper Foundation has contributed to the knowledge of African arts and has organized around sixty exhibitions since 1986 . In addition to the promotion of African arts, there are other cultural aspects of diasporas from the African continent, particularly those from the Caribbean and Guyana.
