Ho-Am Museum of Art
Ho-Am Art Museum is a private museum that opened on April 22, 1982, based on the Korean art collection of Ho-Am Lee Byung-chul, the founder of Samsung Group, over a period of 30 years. In accordance with the founder’s founding principles of wanting to provide our people with a dream of cultural creation and to be a place of living education for national culture, Ho-Am Art Museum hopes to be an educational venue where all visitors, from children to adults, students to experts, can discover creative values for the future through culture and art and develop insight into history and art. In addition, Ho-Am Art Museum is in harmony with the traditional garden, Heewon, which opened in 1997, so that you can experience the beauty of traditional landscaping as well as exhibitions. The traditional garden Heewon is a space created to show the beauty of traditional Korean gardens that are hard to find these days.
