Latvian Center for Contemporary Art
Latvian Contemporary Art Center is a non-governmental organization that since 2000 promotes contemporary art processes in Latvia and beyond, thinking critically and creatively about developments in modern society. LCCA organizes art events and exhibitions, research and educational projects and publishes publications that focus on the most current processes in art and society, as well as reviewing past developments. The focus is on the contexts of Latvia, the Baltics, Eastern Europe and the wider post-socialist region, family and minority issues, layers of individual and cultural memory, environmental and ecological perspectives are also highlighted.
